भूमिदानं महादानमतिदानं प्रकीर्तितम् ।
सर्वपापप्रशमनमपवर्गफलप्रदम् ॥ ५२ ॥
bhūmidānaṃ mahādānamatidānaṃ prakīrtitam |
sarvapāpapraśamanamapavargaphalapradam || 52
A gift of land is a great gift. It is glorified as surpassing all gifts. It subdues all sins. It yields the benefit of salvation.

Helping others is merit; hurting others is sin.

दरिद्राय कृतं दानं शून्यलिङ्गस्य पूजनम् |
अनाथप्रेतसंस्कारात् अश्वमेधफलं लभेत् ||

Charity to the poor, worship of the formless, and performing last rites for the orphaned brings the merit of an Ashwamedha Yagna.

• Relatives of the deceased offering daan receive blessings from the soul, which is believed to have the strongest positive influence in one’s life.
• Daan brings success, peace, and prosperity to people’s lives.
• This is a one-time opportunity as such centres are rare to come by.
• The centre/rooms etc., will be named after the donors.

SIWASTHAN humbly requests support for this cause. The centre, rooms and facilities may be named after donors as listed below. Donations are accepted from all, including NRIs donating from their NRI account.
